Cook pasta according to the instructions on the package
Heat olive oil in the saute pan with raised edges over medium high heat
Add sausage and crumble while cooking until browned, approx 15 minutes
Remove sausage from pan and place in a bowl. Set aside
In the same pan, add the diced fennel and onion and cook until soft, about 5 minutes
Add crushed tomato sauce and heavy cream. Mix well and bring to a slight boil
Simmer sauce for 10 minutes
Add salt and taste to adjust
Add sausage, green peas and cooked pasta to the sauce and mix well
Split into bowls and top with parmesan
